At Presumpscot Elementary School we strive to be an equitable school with a school culture that is trauma-informed, asset-based, and celebrates joy and critical inquiry. A school community where members talk openly about identity, reflect on their own cultural biases, advocate for families, and use restorative practice as the centerpiece for challenging conversations. Curriculum that is culturally responsive, reflective of the world, and provides windows, mirrors, and sliding glass doors for our students.

 Presumpscot FTO News
Presumpscot Family Teacher Organization (FTO): We are a parent-run group, whose goal is to support teachers and students at Presumpscot.  We meet once a month.  Examples of ways that we support teachers are by providing welcome back gifts and breakfasts, gifts and food during Teacher Appreciation Week, and helping with expenses for classroom needs.  We help support students by planning & running a basketball league for Presumpscot students, assisting with the Scholastic Book Fair, and supplying funds for the fifth-grade farewell.  Please email us at [email protected] if you want to be involved.
