Administration

Angie Taylor - Principal
I began my career in education in 2000, after graduating from USM’s ETEP program. I taught 9-12 grade humanities at Poland Regional High School. During my 11 years in that position, I worked with some amazing teachers and leaders. It taught me the importance of collective efficacy and collaboration.
Since my time at PRHS, I led Elm Street Elementary school and Baxter Academy for Technology and Science. Engaging in STEM work at Baxter has pushed me to consider ways we can integrate STEM at the elementary level. How do we get more students engaged in STEM activities at a younger age?
Presumpscot Elementary School is one of the most magical places I have ever worked because of the staff and students.
Prior to teaching, I worked at L.L. Bean for 10 years and I was in the United States Navy. Fun fact: I was a cryptologist stationed in Rota, Spain. After leaving the Navy, I moved from my home state of California to Maine because a friend needed help driving their car to Brunswick.
