At Presumpscot Elementary School we strive to be an equitable school with a school culture that is trauma informed, asset based, and celebrates joy and critical inquiry. A school community where members talk openly about identity, reflect on their own cultural biases, advocate for families, and use restorative practice as the centerpiece for challenging conversations. Curriculum that is culturally responsive, reflective of the world, and provides windows, mirrors, and sliding glass doors for our students.
