Portland Parks and Recreation offers a Before and After School Recreation Program here
at Presumpscot Elementary School. Program hours are as follows:

 

*Before School Rec begins at 7:00 a.m.
*After School Rec ends at 5:30 p.m.
*Early Release Wednesdays begins at 2:00 p.m.*
*Parent/Teacher Conference Days, extended hours begin at 12:00 p.m.**

 

*You must be signed up at least 3 afternoons a week in order to take advantage of the early release Wednesdays.

**Extended care is provided to children already enrolled in the after school program on those days at no additional cost.

Summer Champs


United Way Summer Champs is a scholarship program funded by the Libra Foundation that sends hundreds of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders in Portland Public Schools to summer camps in Maine each year. With $400, $800 and $1,000 scholarships, students can attend up to three summer camps and experience everything from arts and music to sports and adventure.
