Handwriting Without Tears
HWT Chart
Pre-Kers are using the Handwriting Without Tears program to learn about writing their letters. First we begin with our uppercase letters and then we will focus on our lowercase letters. The reason we do this is because uppercase letters require less fine motor control. Once the small muscles in our hands are strong enough, we will move onto lowercase letters. At first, though we want to become masters of writing the uppercase letters in our name, and then all 26 uppercase letters!

Above is a chart of all 26 uppercase letters. Below the letters is the language we use to describe how to write each letter.
